This is a captivating story. I read it with my ten year old son. We could not get enough of it and can’t wait for the sequel. The author really brings the characters to life and he adds in some humor as well. –Joseph Nuovo Totally charming story! The Brackmeyer Sweets factory offers metal cauldrons full of melted chocolate or caramel and people stir these wearing heat-resistant suits. Charles B. Brackmeyer Jr. Is the bad guy who sends Henry P Twist, master chef, off to the old folks’ home in order to replace him with machinery. Oh no! Readers will be delighted at what happens next. Chefs should win, factory owners should lose. –Sylvia Fowler Just love this story –Susan Malm
